I only get to give up to 5 stars? Triple that and I would give this course the full 15 stars! Julie Eickhof is a master at voice overs and is a highly gifted teacher. Julie's course is comprehensive. She not only tells you everything you need to know about getting started doing voice overs, she shows you in her easy-to-follow demonstrations, often more than once. There's no fluff in this course, only useful, practical information, tips, and advice, including how to take care of your voice and warm up before recording.. Julie not only explains how to make a quality sound booth, she critiques yours by looking at pictures of it that you send to her and listening to samples of your work. You learn more than enough about each pillar of this business to advance with confidence in your own voice over career path. Julie also goes the extra mile by answering your questions via email, usually within 24-hours. And Julie's Voice Review -her assessment of the quality of your voice over sample- is invaluable. Her suggestions here are all geared toward helping you put your best voice forward. I was about to pay for a course that cost 5 times as much as this one, and I'm sure it would have been good, but I was fortunate enough to find Julie's course before I signed up for the other. I not only saved a ton of money, I know that I got the biggest bang for my buck! Julie is awesome! Her course is excellent! And I am super-satisfied!

Julie is such a great teacher. I've heard her on TV, so learning from a successful Voice Over Artist with "celebrity" status made this even more fun. I've learned so much already, just doing a quick run-through on this course. My next step is to go back through and really dig-in and apply everything I've learned so that I can start auditioning. I really feel like this course is going to give me the confidence and industry knowledge to get started and hit the ground running. Julie is an excellent teacher and so encouraging when it comes to beginning a new career. I've been an M.D. since 1988 and have been told often that I have a great reading voice. I've been using Audible.com since 2012 and am very picky about what books I will listen to based on the narrator. A bad narrator makes me exchange a book almost immediately. So, I know how important good narration or VO is for the listener to any voice talent. Thank you, Julie, for such a comprehensive course. I recently retired from practicing medicine and can't wait to launch into this new adventure and career in voice acting/narration.

This is a fantastic way to get your footing in the world of voice overs. Julie is thorough and precise with her lessons. The course is VERY actionable and that is the type of education that sticks with you. She gives more than enough resources and updates the course regularly to keep it fresh and relevant. The voice review was so encouraging and honest. You can tell she wants you to succeed, yet she never panders to you by telling you what you want to hear, only what you need to hear. This is invaluable when stepping into this field. She helps you to narrow your focus and highlight your strengths with far less trial and error you'd to go through in the field. I don't have any negatives! I love that you can pay monthly if you're running on a budget which is always nice. If you think you'd like voice overs, then go for it and take this course. If you find out you don't like VO then you still learned something! Maybe you'll find the editing interesting. I know I did and I'm even considering looking into deepening my editing and master skills. A very useful skill in this day and age!

I found this course to be invaluable. I really appreciated all of the very specific information in how to set up a recording space and the type of equipment I'd need. It saved me a TON of research, and the result is excellent. I don't live in the quietest neighborhood and was wondering if I'd be able to get around that, but using your information seems to have done the trick. The Audacity software has been easy to use (I did have to get help from my nephew to install the plug-ins on my iMac), and your instructions about mastering and editing allowed me to get good-sounding recordings from the start, at least as far as I can tell. I'll know for sure once the evaluation is returned! I really appreciate the website information, especially the pronunciation and where to find work sites. You even give discuss pay rates and the business end of working as a voiceover artist. It's an A-Z course about how to start working in the business, and I'm SO glad I found it. It's well worth every cent in time saved and mistakes avoided.

I am an actress with over 30 years spent in the business of acting for stage and film. I decided to get into voiceover work because it is the one industry that allows your talent to be more important than your looks. I found this course to be a well-structured introduction to voice over work in a home recording studio. I came to the course with a lot of questions about the software and studio set-up side of things, and was able to learn a lot about editing voice recordings through the lessons on audiobook production. There are a lot of resources included in the course that help with the ins and outs of the business. Overall, a fantastic course for those looking to start a career voice over who don't know where to start.

I am starting a completely new and want to start with a great foundation. Julies course gave me the perfect starting point. She explored everything that I think I need to be really successful. She's not teaching a quick course on how to make six figures in six months kind of thing. She's honest about the work needed (and to practice) and most of all be a professional. I have been very pleased with Julie's online course. It's very detailed, and she offers many of her own specific "how's" that she's used in her career. Practical, personable, and comprehensive—well worth the price. I would definitely recommend for any VO beginners like myself!

I very much appreciated the actionable steps and advice given in this course. I’ve come across other courses on other topics that while useful, forget that they are for beginners in their field who don’t have the same knowledge base, and so it often feels that something obvious is missing, but because the viewer is uneducated in the nuances of the field they can’t grasp certain concepts.
